      Development Status of Solar Photovoltaic

      The 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the 1997 Kyoto Protocol and the Paris Agreement for 2015 are three milestone international conventions on climate change in human history and reaches a consensus on energy conservation and environmental protection.

      Photovoltaic power generation is a green low-carbon lifestyle. In recent years, the global photovoltaic power generation system device showed a trend of increasing year by year. By the end of 2016, global PV installed capacity reached 300GW. Chinese total installed capacity of 77.42GW, followed by Japan, the United States and Germany. By 2050 photovoltaic power generation will reach 50% of the global power generation. The number of new global solar power stations has increased significantly.

      Typically, solar panels are connected in series to produce the desired voltage and form a "PV group" that generates several megawatts of electricity and then incorporates the grid. All PV modules can be connected in parallel with a multiplexed inverter. A solar power plant need thousands of solar panels engineers with responsibility of monitoring the overall device performance in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the PV system.

      Photovoltaic system includes PV module, combining manifolds, grid-connected inverter. Each component needs be monitored to detect the current and voltage in order to evaluate the efficiency and security of the system. When multiple PV modules are connected in parallel to the inverter through combining manifolds, by detecting the operating current of each PV group, engineers can effectively monitor the working status of the PV panel and obtain the maximum power point (MPP) of the PV, and concurrently improve the system’s efficiency.

      Through the current sensors and voltage sensors real-time detection of photovoltaic system status to achieve the system monitoring and protection.
